Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: The Hyundai Alcazar is essentially a stretched-out version of the South Korean automaker’s best-selling Creta model, and the latest redesign doesn’t seem to have done much to change the car’s exterior. The sales charts show that Alcazar is doing okay. Is it equally as popular as the Mahindra XUV700 or the new Scorpio N? Simply put, no.
The XUV700, the Scorpio N, and the Safari are all much larger than the Alcazar. It has the least powerful and least torque of any diesel engine, and it is also the smallest. However, the XUV700 and the Scorpio N both have more horsepower than its 200 from the larger 2.0-liter engines. In order to maintain its competitive edge, Hyundai appears to be releasing a modest update.

2023 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift
If you didn’t know any better, you might assume Alcazar was just a Cretan with a bigger vocabulary. In reality, it is exactly the case. It lacks the huge power of similar items on the market. Alcazar’s interior lacks luxuries such as soft-touch plastics despite the car’s upscale status. We can reasonably anticipate that vehicles costing four times as much as the Vista will likewise give comparable amenities if Tata can provide moderately pliable plastics on the Vista in 2008.
Updated for 2023, the Hyundai Alcazar was spotted out and about in South Korea during testing without any camouflage. You wouldn’t know this wasn’t the same Alcazar that’s for sale right now with just a cursory glance. Subtle changes were made to the building’s exterior, and the interior was not visible in the spies’ images.
The first thing you’ll notice is the unique grille. All Hyundais now come with enormous grilles and rapidly expanding bodies. However, a Hyundai’s grille has shrunk, which may be the first time this has happened in quite some time. It isn’t actually smaller, but that’s not a problem. The grille’s aperture is still the same, but less chrome surrounds it.
Used to be the entire bottom edge of the grille was chrome. This new design, however, has a split grille that makes the entrance appear smaller than it is. The already-cheap Alcazar gets given a fashionable upgrade with the addition of horizontal chrome studs. In contrast, modern alternatives are chunkier in design and reminiscent of Venue’s signature grille.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Specs & Features
The only visible difference is that the licence plate has been relocated from the trunk to the bumper. Still, the chrome strip with the Alcazar emblem prevents the number plate illumination lights from being seen, therefore this design may not be put into production.
The Alcazar comes equipped with BlueLink-connected car technology, a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the vehicle’s infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital display for the driver, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. For your safety, this vehicle is equipped with six airbags, ESC, and parking sensors in the front and back. There has been talking of adding cutting-edge ADAS features to the redesigned Alcazar.
There will be no changes to the Hyundai Alcazar’s engine options, which include a 2.0-liter MPi producing 158 horsepower and 191 Newton-meters of torque and a 1.5-liter turbo-diesel producing 113 horsepower and 250 Newton-meters of torque. The Alcazar may be had with either a manual or automatic powertrain that features 6 gears. The remodeled Alcazar is expected to make its premiere in 2019.
