Hyundai Aura Facelift

2023 Hyundai Aura Facelift First Look Review

Hyundai’s popular compact car, the Aura, has been redesigned with new styles and key new features.

Both the Nios hatchback and the Aura compact sedan have received significant updates from Hyundai, including the addition of key features. Although the Aura sedan has been on the market for three years, recent updates have given it a more modern look, particularly in the front end. The black radiator grille and LED daytime running lights are both found on the front bumper. As a result, the new Aura’s exterior now looks more sporty thanks to the expanded blacked area.

No changes have been made to the design of the headlights, and 15-inch alloy wheels have been added to the outside. At the back, a chrome strip connects the taillights, but otherwise, the original design has been retained.

The copper accents on the dashboard and the grey and black color pattern continue inside. In the cabin, new features include USB Type C charging ports, illuminated footwells, an upgraded instrument cluster, and automatic headlights. Steering controls, cruise control, power mirrors, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a cold glovebox, climate control, and more are all still present.

Six airbags can be added as an option, with four being standard, and a tyre pressure monitoring system is also included. The Aura now only comes with a 1.2l petrol unit and a CNG engine variant; the turbo petrol and diesel options have been discontinued. Besides the AMT automatic transmission, a 5-speed manual is also included.

With these updates, the new Aura is not only more appealing but also cheaper, starting at Rs 6.29 lakh.
