Hyundai India is gearing up to launch a new Adventure Edition of the Creta, following the comprehensive update of its competitor, the Seltos. The automaker has been leading the compact SUV segment with its popular Creta model, and it also offers the Alcazar in a higher tier, which has been performing well compared to its rivals. As the festive season approaches, Hyundai aims to capitalize on the growing demand and boost sales.
To achieve this, Hyundai is adopting a special edition strategy, a tactic that has proven successful for other manufacturers like Tata Motors. While the company already offers the Knight Edition for the Creta, they are now teasing the arrival of the all-new Hyundai Adventure Edition for both the Creta and Alcazar models. With anticipation building, customers can look forward to unique and exciting features that add a touch of adventure to these already popular SUVs.

Hyundai Adventure Edition – Both Creta & Alcazar?
Hyundai is all set to introduce the Adventure Edition for both the Creta and Alcazar models, and the automaker has given us a sneak peek through three enticing images shared on its social media channels.
In the first image, we see an Adventure badge on the front right fender, accompanied by Adventure lettering on what appears to be a faux air vent. A striking horizontal element extends from the Adventure badge, running into the front door, adding to the SUV’s rugged appeal.
The second image showcases a fully blackened grille, featuring a black Hyundai logo, exuding a bold and sporty appearance.
The third image highlights the Alcazar’s 18” alloy wheels with a stylish dark finish. These wheels could possibly be shared with the Creta, considering their similarity, as the Alcazar is essentially a longer version of the Creta. Notably, the front brake caliper sports a vibrant red color, suggesting a similar treatment for the rear brake caliper as well. The matte green shade reminiscent of Tata’s Camo Edition adds a touch of adventure and uniqueness to the SUVs.
The Adventure Edition also features wheel arch claddings, while the side running board cladding is reminiscent of the stock Creta but now comes with intriguing brown or beige highlights. Additionally, there is extra cladding on the doors, enhancing the rugged aesthetics similar to the Renault Duster Adventure Edition’s additional side body cladding.
While Hyundai has left us eager with these teaser images, the Adventure Edition promises to bring exciting enhancements that will surely appeal to adventure enthusiasts and add a touch of excitement to the Creta and Alcazar models.

Creta Adventure AWD?
The possibility of Creta and Alcazar receiving All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is almost negligible, and it is highly likely that the Adventure Edition will focus primarily on styling enhancements. Mechanically, both the Creta and Alcazar will remain identical to their non-Adventure Edition variants, including the same powertrains. The Creta will retain its 1.5L NA petrol engine, while the Alcazar will continue with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Both models will share the 1.5L diesel engine as well.
The Adventure Edition vehicles will be equipped with Apollo Apterra tires, likely the HL series, which are not specifically designed for off-road adventures like the HT or AT types.
While the Adventure Edition will add a distinctive flair to multiple trim levels, it is expected to come at a slight premium over the regular variants. The launch of the Hyundai Adventure Edition is expected to take place very soon, giving car enthusiasts an opportunity to explore these stylishly enhanced SUVs.
