2023 Kia Seltos Facelift launch Date in India, design, features and more

Kia Seltos Facelift: Although the updated Kia Seltos was introduced in other countries last year, it has not yet reached India.

The updated Seltos from Kia is coming soon to the Indian market. The 2023 Kia Seltos is the first major refresh of the compact crossover and will feature numerous exterior and interior upgrades. No official release date has been given as of this writing.

The front end has been given a facelift with new LED headlights, updated LED daytime running lights, and a modified grille. The exterior has been updated with new features such as redesigned alloy wheels, LED taillights connected by an LED light bar, a reshaped tailgate and bumper, etc.

A panoramic sunroof, intelligent cruise control, highway driving assistance, a 360-degree video system, a tyre pressure monitoring system, six airbags, vehicle stability management, and so on are all now included as standard equipment. In AT models, the old-fashioned gear lever has been replaced by a brand-new 10.25-inch digital instrument console.

Forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and automated emergency braking are just some of the ADAS-based driver assistance and safety features that the 2023 Kia Seltos may be the first in India to provide. A new 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine producing 160 hp and 253 Nm of peak torque will be available.

It will replace the present model’s 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine, good for 140 hp and 242 Nm. It can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. There will be no change to the 115 horsepower and 144 Newton-meters of torque delivered by either the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol or diesel engines that are already on offer.

The updated version of the Seltos destined for India is the same as the one that debuted last year at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea.
