Logan Valentini Was Born With A Different Name
Logan Valentini, previously known as Lori Homolka, is the second daughter of Karel and Dorothy Homolka. Born in 1971 in a small town in Ontario, Canada, Lori’s parents held well-paying jobs. Karel Homolka worked as a traveling salesman, while Dorothy, a Czechoslovakian immigrant, was employed at a geriatric clinic.
Lori is the middle child in her family, growing up in a content and joyful household in St. Catharines alongside her two sisters, Karla and Tammy Homolka. Tammy was the youngest, and Karla was the eldest. Lori is a year younger than Karla and three years older than her late sister Tammy.

Tammy Was Murdered While Her Sister Lori Slept Peacefully
Logan Valentini’s infamous sister observed a growing attraction toward her younger sister since the start of Karla and Paul’s relationship. Additionally, Karla’s then-partner, Paul, would compel her to impersonate Tammy during intimate moments. Despite these circumstances, Karla yielded to all of his desires and tragically sacrificed her sister’s life just a week before her sibling’s birthday, all in the name of her lover’s happiness.
Tammy met a tragic end; she choked on her own vomit and passed away moments later. Karla and Paul dialed 911, attempting unsuccessfully to revive her. Regrettably, the case was initially dismissed as “accidental.”
Aside From Tammy, The “Ken and Barbie Killers” Had Two Other Victims
The twisted lovers, Karla and Paul, were dubbed “Ken and Barbie Killers.” Tammy’s death in 1990 was only the beginning of their nearly two-year killing spree. Leslie Mahaffy, 14, and Kristien French, 15, were abducted, raped, and killed by the couple.
Similarly, another young girl was present. Jane Doe (her real name is unknown) literally escaped the mouth of death after being raped twice by “Ken and Barbie.”
Logan Valentini Changed Her Name Following the Arrest of Her Sister Karla Homolka
Karla received a 12-year prison sentence despite being convicted of the rape and murder of three young girls, thanks to a “plea bargain” offered by the prosecution. She voluntarily turned herself in to the police when Bernardo became increasingly agitated and abusive.
Dubbed “The Witch of Ontario,” Karla faced a crucial decision: either testify against her ex and receive a reduced sentence or face full charges. Opting for the former, Karla was incarcerated at Kingston’s Women’s Prison until 2005.
In light of her older sister’s arrest, Logan, wanting to avoid the negative attention and embarrassment, decided to keep a low profile. In 1996, she changed her name from “Lori” to “Logan,” allowing her to conceal her true identity and lead a more ordinary life.
