Maruti recently revealed that the company is going to launch the new generation model of its popular Eeco passenger vehicle (PV). Interestingly, this update is coming after 11 years. It is expected to be launched by September. Currently, the exterior design and cabin features have been leaked, providing a lot of information about this upcoming passenger car.

In addition, its core silhouette has been kept unchanged, and most of its corners have been given a rounded shape, similar to before. On the other hand, there are not many changes seen in the side and rear profile. Maruti Suzuki Eeco van can be presented in both non-cargo variants of 5-seater and 7-seater options, just like before.

Speaking of the looks and interior design of the Maruti Suzuki EECO 7-Seater MPV, there will be more changes inside. Additionally, the new EECO will have more space compared to the current model. Moreover, the van’s aerodynamics will be improved with better overalls and finishes. The current EECO model is available in color options such as Solid White, Pearl Midnight Black, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Glistering Grey, and Cerulean Blue.
Maruti Suzuki EECO 7-Seater MPV– Engine Power
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the updated model of its popular 7-seater MPV, the EECO. Interestingly, this update comes after a gap of 11 years. The expected launch of this new generation model is in September. Currently, some leaked images reveal changes in its exterior and cabin features, giving us valuable insights about this upcoming passenger car.
In terms of its engine, the Maruti Suzuki EECO 7-Seater MPV will be equipped with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, capable of delivering 73 PS of power and 98 Nm of peak torque. It will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, there will be a CNG variant available, which produces 63 PS of power and 85 Nm of torque.
Talking about mileage, the company claims that the EECO will offer 16.11 km/l in petrol mode and an impressive 27 km/l in the CNG variant.
As for pricing, the exact figures have not been officially revealed yet. However, it is anticipated that the new model will be priced higher than the current one. The existing EECO model’s price ranges from 4.63 lakh rupees to 7 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). It is expected to face competition from the likes of Datsun GO Plus and Tata Tiago in the Indian market.
