A serious multi-vehicle crash on Highway 17 in Tsawwassen on Sunday night sent four people to the hospital and closed the highway for around 10 hours, Delta police reported.
The accident happened just before 7:30pm near the intersection of Highway 17 and 56th Street. According to police, one vehicle hit the concrete median, rolled over, and collided with another vehicle. The displaced median then struck a third vehicle.
Multiple emergency response units were called to the crash, including police, fire crews, seven ground ambulances, an air ambulance, and highway contractors.
