A 38-year-old woman was killed and a minor seriously injured in a crash involving a police vehicle on Friday night in Minnesota.
The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 70 near 4th Street Southwest as police were pursuing a motorcycle driver who did not have license plates.
During the chase, the police vehicle collided with the woman’s Honda. She died at the scene while the injured child in her car was hospitalized in life-threatening condition.
The identities of the deceased woman and injured minor have not been released. An investigation into the fatal crash involving the police car during the motorcycle pursuit is ongoing, authorities said.
