Midway through 2023, Toyota will introduce the Toyota Rumion in India; it will be simply a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The seven-seat Rumion will likely come with a single gasoline engine option.
The Toyota Rumion for India is predicted to look very much like the Toyota Ertiga. However, it may receive updated bumpers and a grille to set it apart from the model it replaces. In addition to the obligatory projector headlights, other desirable features include a rearview camera, parking sensors, and alloy wheels.
It is unclear at this time what sort of interior features the Rumion will have in India. But Toyota is expected to include a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an analogue instrument cluster, a flat-bottomed multifunctional steering wheel, and automatic air conditioning.
Standardization for India The Toyota Rumion will likely be powered by either a six-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission linked to a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder normally aspirated engine.
