Two-wheeler manufacturer Aprilia unveiled its highly anticipated RS457 sportbike at the 2023 MotoGP Bharat event held at Buddh International Circuit.
The premium motorcycle, designed for racing enthusiasts, made its debut in front of crowds at India’s premier motorsports competition. Its throaty exhaust note promises exhilarating performance capabilities.
Drawing styling inspiration from Aprilia’s bigger displacement models, the RS457 features aggressive fairing, race-spec graphics, and an athletic stance. Details like the split seat setup, compact windscreen, and sculpted fuel tank reflect its racing DNA.
Powering the RS457 is an advanced 4-valve, DOHC liquid-cooled parallel twin engine producing 48hp, paired to a 6-speed transmission. The lightweight aluminum perimeter frame and advanced suspension components aim to provide an exciting and balanced ride.
While exact pricing remains unannounced, the feature-packed Aprilia RS457 is expected to be positioned as a premium offering above rivals like the KTM Duke 390. Its debut on home turf indicates Aprilia’s commitment to bringing world-class supersport motorcycles to the Indian market.
