This New Jersey tech company, Triton Solar, has just released an all-electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) called the Triton Model H. The vehicle is marketed as a luxury SUV with a long range of 700 miles (1126 km).
The SUV from Triton will be a formidable rival to the soon-to-be-released Cadillac Escalade EV. The Triton Model H SUV was designed, built, and tested in just 18 months, and it can carry eight people.
Two times as far as the Tesla Model 3, the Triton model H SUV has a claimed range of 1126 kilometers (700 miles) on a single charge (519 km).
To power all four wheels, the Triton Model H SUV is equipped with a total of four electric motors. According to the manufacturer, its maximum horsepower output is 1500 hp, and it can go from 0 to 100 km/h (60 miles per hour) in just 2.9 seconds. The SUV outpaces the vast majority of existing sports cars and motorcycles.
